An incredibly tasty and popular Nigerian dessert

Ingredients

3 cups flour

1 cup of Golden cane sugar

4 teaspoons active yeast

Push Chocolate Original Buttons

2 medium overripe Plantain (If you cannot find plantains near where you live, then your best replacement options are bananas, potato, yuca root / cassava root, jackfruit, and sweet potato).

2 cups lukewarm water

Oil to fry (deep frying)
Directions
In a bowl, mash overripe Plantain, add flour, yeast, sugar then slowly add water while mixing till the batter is thick and smooth.
Cover the mixture with clingfilm, set aside in a warm place for 30-45 minutes
Set a deep pan on medium heat, add enough oil for deep frying and heat until hot.
Put one chocolate button in the batter then scoop together and drop in the hot oil (scoop enough batter with your hand or a ice cream scoop)
Drop the batter in oil till the pot is crowded.
Repeat, and fry until golden brown on all sides
Take out of oil and drain on kitchen towel the enjoy!!!
